It's International Men's Health Week and hearing health is an important part of your overall health.

Did you know that men are 3x more likely to develop a hearing loss than women! That's why we are inviting all the men along to our Beer & Hear.

Join us for a fun, informative and easy-going evening where you will get to:

  • Understand hearing loss and how common it is
  • Learn ways to prevent further hearing loss
  • Experience wearing hearing aids - and just how good it can feel to hear properly!

The evening includes:

  • Free hearing screenings & opportunity to wear hearing aids for part of the event

Frequently asked questions

Is this event just for men?

Absolutely not! We will be discussing topics relating to hearing health and specifically how that effects men but please bring your loved ones!

How do I try on hearing aids at the event?

When purchasing your ticket please nominate that you would like to try hearing aids at the event. At the event a bloom hearing representative will find you and take you to have a brief consult with the audiologist and she will fit you with hearing aids for part of the event.

Will you be serving dinner?

A range of platters and canapes will be served during the event. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Are drinks included?

A range of Beer, Wine and Soft Drink will be available on a bar tab. Once the tab is finished you will be able to purchase drinks from the bar.

Is there a fee to attend?

There is a fee of $5pp to attend this event, will all proceeds donated to Baldivis Men's Shed
